I don’t find this convincing

Pete Davis over at Capital Gains and Games argues that the VAT will be more difficult and less fair than people assume.  Fairness has never been an argument in defense of the VAT, so I don’t get his line of reasoning there.  Anyway, it’s obvious that I disagree with his general thrust.
